MEET NELLIE

I photograph women because I’ve been the one hiding from the camera too.

I know what it’s like to not feel ready. To think you need to fix something before you can be seen. I carried that for years. Boudoir gave me a way to finally let some of it go. It gave me permission to come back to myself and now I offer that to every woman who walks through my doors.

I’m Native Hawaiian, born & raised on the islands, and even though I live in New Hampshire now, my culture shows up in everything I do. In the way I care for people. In the way I hold space. In how gently and honestly I’ll guide you through your session.

When I’m not in the studio, I’m outside near or on the water, gardening, bikjoring with my dog, cooking, making lei, thrifting, or traveling home to Hawai’i.

If you’ve been waiting for the “right” time, I get it.
But maybe this is it.
Maybe you’re already enough right now.
And maybe all that’s left is to show up.
